The truth is here. Henry Cavill is gone, Gal Gadot is gone, Ben Affleck is gone, Zachary Levi (is probably heading out as well). Now that we know that James Gunn is rebooting the entire DCU, here’s some news on something before the onset of Gunn’s regime.
The theatrical release of Andrés Muschietti’s The Flash has been surrounded by an aura of conspiracy ever since you-know-what. Back in August, WB was considering three options regarding the movie. The first involved an apology from Ezra, after which WB would do limited press for the film, and release it as scheduled. The second option considered releasing the movie, but Miller wouldn’t be involved in marketing, and would be recast for future DCU projects. The third would be a drastic measure, in which the movie would be scrapped entirely, and reshot with a different actor. Now we finally know which route WB is heading.
Next ‘The Flash’ Promo Arriving Soon
A new report from The Wrap states that the next promotional item for DC’s The Flash will be released during 2023’s Super Bowl LVII. This marks Warners Bros’. return to the Super Bowl after nearly 17 years! WB’s last appearance at the Super Bowl was all the way back in 2006. The report also confirmed that the trailer will be attached to Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania in theaters.
The Flash releases in theaters on June 16, 2023.
