Amazon Prime Video has unveiled the first look at the upcoming drama series The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart. The series stars Alycia Debnam-Carey (Fear the Walking Dead), and Sigourney Weaver (Alien, Avatar: The Way of Water), among others who will bring to life Australian Holly Ringland’s international best-selling book with the same name.
The upcoming Prime Video series will tell the compelling story of Alice Hart, played by Debnam-Carey, whose violent childhood casts a dark shadow over her adult life. Debnam-Carey’s Alice Hart loses both her parents, the father being described as abusive, in a mysterious fire which causes her to have to move and live with her grandmother June.
June Hart, Alice Hart’s grandmother, is played by Weaver in the series adaptation. She lives on a flower farm where Alice lives with her on. It is here that Alice learns many secrets about herself and her own family’s past.
