The Marvels might just be dropping its full official trailer soon as nine new official images release just less than two weeks after its next trailer was reportedly listed.
Brie Larson, Iman Vellani, and Teyonah Parris return as Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau, and Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel in the upcoming 2023 MCU movie.
It’s currently unclear if this live-action Marvel heroine collab will be a consistent team set to be seen in future MCU titles, however, they will be for this new instalment.

Ms. Marvel’s suit will be slightly different to the costume seen during the Ms. Marvel series which is no new occurrence as Marvel Studios do this for all of its costumes.
Larson’s Captain Marvel can be seen standing amidst a group of blurred Skrulls in this new The Marvels image above, a Marvel species also seen in the Secret Invasion series.
The Skrull species first debuted in the comics and then in Captain Marvel as far as their Marvel Cinematic Universe debut goes, canonically speaking, they have been walking around in the main MCU universe for a very long time now.

Captain Marvel was once their enemy due to being tricked by the Kree, the Skrull’s real enemy. She later teamed up with their then-leader Talos to help scare off the Kree.
The Marvels is set to further explore Captain Marvel’s history with the Skrull species.
Parris’s Monica Rambeau uses her photon blast in this new image above, despite these shots also being shown during the first teaser, this could also be from the next trailer.
The Marvels producer Mary Livanos told Entertainment Weekly that “Monica can manipulate all wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum”.
Monica Rambeau has gone by two popular names in the past, one being Photon and the other being Spectrum, the latter expected to be her MCU name.
Livanos’ description of Parris’ version of the character seemingly confirms that she will indeed be going by the name Spectrum in the live-action The Marvels movie.
Vellani’s Kamala Khan is shown seemingly studying in this new image above from The Marvels along with wearing Aisha’s Bangle that sparked her abilities in Ms. Marvel.

Ms. Marvel looks to be still balancing her personal life and superhero life, extremely similar to Tom Holland’s Peter Parker due to the two characters still being fairly young.
Director Nia DaCosta can be seen in the newly released behind-the-scenes image from The Marvels guiding her team on set. Vellani can also be seen in the background.
Zawe Ashton’s villainous Dar-Benn who is a Kree revolutionary in The Marvels and the main antagonist to the three titular Marvel heroines can be seen in the above image.

This marks Ashton’s first debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and depending on the outcome of The Marvels, it may be her last, at least as the Kree Dar-Benn that is.
Ashton who is currently engaged to Tom Hiddleston who plays Loki in the MCU told EW that his advice was: “’If you go into this with an open heart and a great work ethic and just want to provide an amazing experience for the fans, you’ll have an amazing experience on those sets.’”
Goose! Carol Danvers’ Flerken which looks very similar to a normal everyday cat gets the full spotlight in this newly released image (above).

Marvel’s Flerken Goose has a strong canonical history in the MCU timeline, one fact being that Nick Fury’s eyepatch is only worn due to Goose scratching his face.
Larson and Vellani stand side by side as Carol Danvers and Kamala Khan in this newly released image above, which has strong vibes of when Larson’s character and the young Monica in Captain Marvel played by Akira Akbar interacted with one another.
Last but not least, Samuel L. Jackson as many MCU fans will know returns once again as Nick Fury for Marvel Studios’ 2023 The Marvels movie.
