Sony has dropped a new trailer for Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Vers, the sequel to Into The Spider-Verse and possibly one of the most anticipated movies of the year, due to various rumours and reports getting fans excited for what’s to come.
The new trailer for Across The Spider-Verse was released today alongside the release of the international trailer, which featured reused footage and dialogue from Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland’s Spider-Man movies which have caused fans to speculate even further that the three actors will be appearing in the animated franchise eventually.
You can watch the international trailer below, which is identical to the alternative version of the trailer, besides the inclusion of the Spider-Man: No Way Home actors during the beginning sequence of the promotional teaser.
New Across The Spider-Verse Trailer Throwbacks
The three live-action Spider-Man actors are featured during the opening sequence of the new trailer in chronological order of their franchises, starting with Tobey Maguire who says “Sometimes to do what’s right, we have to give up the thing we want the most”, which is dialogue from one of Maguire’s Spider-Man movies.
Andrew Garfield was next in line after Tobey Maguire’s throwback, with footage of Garfield’s Spider-Man free falling from the sky from The Amazing Spider-Man 2, along with Garfield’s Peter Parker saying “Every day, I wake up knowing that the more people I try to save, the more enemies I will make.”
Lastly was Tom Holland’s Spider-Man throwback, which only features one line of dialogue from Holland’s Peter Parker, as he says “This is my chance to prove myself.”.
Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse comes to theatres on June 2, 2023.
