It seems that fans of the James Bond franchise have already set their eyes on two potential candidates to carry on the tradition now that Daniel Craig is officially done playing the iconic martini-sipping, womanizing, Double 00 Agent.
Despite fans always being on the prowl to post their own casting ideas as to who should play the famous British Secret Service Agent, it seems that Tom Hardy and Emily Blunt are the new top choices according to a new UK survey.
The survey in question provided plenty of James Bond-related multiple choice questions for fans to decide over, two questions being who fans would want to see play the next 007 whether it be a male or female taking on the role.
Survey answerers picked Tom Hardy (12,40%) over actors such as Henry Cavill (11,80%) and Richard Madden (8,90%) to take on the role of James Bond, be it if the studio decides to stick to the leading role being written as a man.
Emily Blunt (16,10%) was then chosen as the fan favourite to take on the role of the next 007 if the studio decides to write the titular role for a woman this time round, with Blunt beating choices such as Jodie Comer (14,50%) and Emilia Clarke (9,30%).
The next instalment and technical reboot of the James Bond / 007 franchise is expected to be released sometime in 2025 or possibly even by 2026, with no official casting or detail announcements being provided by the cast and crew behind the next chapter of the ever-lasting 007 sagas.
Spoilers: Daniel Craig officially tied the knot in No Time To Die, which left fans heartbroken as Craig’s 007 got an unmistakable death scene during the final moments of the film. This has officially paved the way for the next saga to begin, with Craig’s adaptation of the character most certainly being done and dusted.
