Tom Hardy has shared his first official behind-the-scenes image from Venom 3 which also confirms a major Tom Holland Spider-Man connection from No Way Home.
Filming on the third Venom movie only began this week, however, set videos and images from locals surfaced as soon as Hardy commenced his scenes.
In the first set video contained Hardy as Eddie Brock wearing clothing that seemed to be the same as the clothing he can be seen wearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

This had remained unconfirmed until now as Hardy took to Instagram just today to post a behind-the-scenes selfie from the set of Venom 3 that shows off his No Way Home outfit in crystal clear resolution. Confirming the recent speculation as mentioned.
Tom Hardy Confirms Venom 3 Spidey Connection
Now that we know this to be true, this makes it official that Venom 3 will take place after the multiversal events of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
At least, it should be safe to assume this as Eddie Brock was already seen travelling to Tom Holland‘s Spider-Man Universe during the events of Venom: Let There Be Carnage.

So unless these Venom 3 scenes will be taking place moments prior to him travelling to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and sipping drinks at a random bar.
It’s expected that scenes being currently filmed will feature Hardy’s Eddie Brock returning from the MCU back to his normal universe where he and Venom will most likely realise a piece of the symbiote was left behind.

As of writing the confirmed cast for Venom 3 includes Tom Hardy as the titular Eddie Brock aka Venom, with Juno Temple (Ted Lasso) and Chiwetel Ejiofor (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness).
Temple and Ejiofor’s characters have not yet been revealed.
Let There Be Carnage writer Kelly Marcel will be directing the upcoming threequel as well as having various writing credits on the title.
Producing includes Avi Arad, Hardy, Marcel, Hutch Parker, Amy Pascal, and Matt Tolmach. Filming has commenced and it’s expected to release next year sometime in October.
Now that the cast and crew have begun filming, its highly expected that additional casting and set footage will be revealed in the upcoming months.
Sony’s Venom 3 is currently expected to release in October of 2024.
