MCU: Vanessa Kirby To Play Susan Storm
So, will Kirby be next to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
Sneider shared the news on The Hot Mic, a series where he and John Rocha share their Hollywood tips sent to them by their direct sources.
His sources claim, sources that he said can be trusted, that Kirby has been cast as Sue Storm aka the Invisible Woman for the upcoming 2025 reboot.
Adding fuel to this rumour, Kirby recently expressed a public interest in playing the character when asked about it during the press tour for Dead Reckoning: Part One.
“It would be an honour, it would be an honour to play Sue Storm. Yeah, she’s – she’s amazing. So, it would be a complete honour.”Vanessa Kirby
However, according to Sneider, it seems that Kirby may have already been fully aware that she had landed the role, something that will be revealed post-strikes.
Note that none of this information has been officially announced by the cast and crew of Marvel Studios’ Fantastic Four movie, so stay tuned for updates.
Additionally, no new information on casting and development on projects such as Fantastic Four will be revealed until a resolution to the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes has been found.
Fantastic Four is scheduled to release on February 14, 2025.
