Jason Momoa was first in line to attend Mettalica’s Los Angeles M72 concert as new videos online show the Aquaman star moshing it out in the pit with metalheads alike.

Besides being a huge fan, Momoa had a special reason to attend and fully rock out as he revealed online that he had plans to go with his friend, Travis Snyder, who had to cancel due to undergoing an “emergency surgery” the night before.

Momoa made it his mission to give his friend the experience of meeting Metallica’s legendary members such as James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett.

Snyder has been publicly battling leukaemia cancer for several years now and sadly had to miss meeting Metallica in real life due to an emergency surgery, which Momoa states is for his fight against cancer.

“I tried to get my boy [Snyder], tried to make it,” Momoa explained in the video posted to his social media as shown above, “We had emergency surgery last night but we’re going to watch Metallica together.”

“He couldn’t make it but we’re going to meet James [Hetfield] for the first time. I love you, dude.”

The Game of Thrones star added that despite his friend not being able to join him in person, the two have plans to try to attend a Metallica concert together this October for one of the band’s next scheduled shows.

“That’s right, we’ll see Metallica then, all right? You’ve got to keep fighting. Here we go, we’re going to go meet James right now, are you ready?”
