The Walking Dead (TWD) is officially counting down to the last ever episode, and we fans can’t stop trying to guess what will happen. Rick Grimes is at the top of everybody’s minds, which we have reported in the past, but that’s not why we’re here today.
No, today we want to talk about a recent theory posted by the Instagram user known as “twdufactsandinfo” aka “RoyalDragon20“.
Now as any theory goes, potential spoilers do go with the territory so keep that in mind before reading onwards.
CRM Spotted In Walking Dead Footage?
RoyalDragon20’s theory places the CRM (Civil Replublic Military) right inside the walls of the Commonwealth itself. If you don’t know or remember, CRM has been a prominent antagonist in almost every TWD Universe project up to date. Appearing in the main show, Fear the Walking Dead, and World Beyond, with still a potential part to play still.
In the image above, the theory is that the CRM soldiers can be spotted during what seems to be a fight in the Commonwealth union station. However, this is just pure speculation as the footage is quite difficult to make out.
Funnily enough, the theory itself still carries some weight when it comes to the Civil Republic Military.
Lance Hornsby Allies With CRM…?
I gave you all a spoiler warning earlier but now I must give one for season 11’s episode 19.
Lance Hornsby is in a whole heap of trouble during the first few episodes of season 11’s third act. Essentially causing the death of Pamela Milton’s son Sebastian, which is a huge difference compared to the comics. Lance’s plans have just dug him deeper into the hole he finds himself in, causing severe tension with Pamela.
During the events of episode 19, Lance pulls out every last trick he has up his sleeve to survive Pamela’s wrath. He says “If something happens to me, certain alliances the Commonwealth has… certain stabilizing factors… are likely to become a problem.” to Pamela at one point.
Lance could potentially be setting up the CRM to be introduced to the final episodes here. When he says “certain alliances” and things like “likely to become a problem”, it just cries out Civil Republic Military. Who else could he be referring to here, who else is big enough to truly take on the Commonwealth’s forces?
Setting Up The Perfect Rick Grimes Return
Nobody believes us when we say that Andrew Lincoln, aka Rick Grimes, will one hundred percent be returning to the show.
Considering what Lance is saying, the dream of Rick Grimes returning is becoming more and more real by the minute. If it is truly the CRM that Lance is hinting at, then that will be the perfect way for Rick to appear during the final events of season 11.
We did report via a trusted source that Andrew Lincoln will be involved in a firefight during the final season. However, this isn’t something that is uncommon for good old Sherrif Friendly.
