The official teaser trailer for the third season of the Chucky series has been released, offering fans an extremely cryptic glimpse at the upcoming episodes.
This season will see Chucky, for reasons unknown, tormenting and “invading” the Oval Office, in which Devon Sawa stars as the American president.

Sawa, known from titles such as the original Final Destination movie, has returned each season as a completely new character, this time as the aforementioned president of the United States.
Chucky Season 3 – Confirmed Cast So Far
SYFY’s Chucky series has seen the return of its classic movie characters such as Andy Barclay, Kyle, and Nica Pierce – all played by the original stars.
Brad Dourif is set to return as the iconic voice of Chucky aka the fictional serial killer known as Charles Lee Ray, alongside Jennifer Tilly who has been confirmed to return yet again as Tiffany Valentine – Chucky’s old partner in crime.
As mentioned, Devon Sawa is also set to return but this time as a completely new character for the third time running, as the president for some reason.
Zackary Arthur and Alyvia Alyn Lind also star as Lexy Cross and Jake Wheeler as confirmed by the official plot synopsis below.
Interestingly, these are the only confirmed series regulars to be returning for the third season due to its plot being kept extremely under wraps.
Chucky Season 3 – Plot Details
The plot synopsis for the third season, which can be read in the description of SYFY’s YouTube version of the trailer, reads as follows:
“In Chucky’s unending thirst for power, season 3 now sees Chucky ensconced with the most powerful family in the world — America’s First Family, inside the infamous walls of the White House.
How did Chucky wind up here? What in God’s name does he want? And how can Jake, Devon, and Lexy possibly get to Chucky inside the world’s most secure house, all while balancing the pressures of romantic relationships and growing up?
Meanwhile, Tiffany faces a looming crisis of her own as the police close in on her for “Jennifer Tilly’s” murderous rampage last season.”
