Netflix has dropped the first clip from the third season of Ragnarok, the modern reimagining of the famous Norse mythological tales featuring gods like Thor.
This season has been confirmed to be the final season of the series with the upcoming episodes set to finish the story that is the modern Ragnarok.

Starring in the Norwegian Netflix series has David Stakston as Magne Seier aka Thor, Theresa Frostad Eggesbø as the Giant Saxa, Herman Tømmeraas as fellow Giant Fjor, and Jonas Strand Gravli as Laurits, among others.
Laurits Seems Worried About Jörmungandr
In the first look clip from Ragnarok season 3, Gravli’s Laurits can be seen parenting his World Serpent child Jörmungandr.
Laurits who is basically Loki in this reimagining can be seen comforting Jörmungandr as he promises not to let Fjor use him as a tool for war.

It seems that Laurits genuinely cares about Jörmungandr in this clip, at one point even considering the World Serpent to be Laurits’ only real family.
However, the warming moment between Laurits and Jörmungandr is cut short as Odin’s two ravens Hugin and Munin fly overhead.
Hugin and Munin are both iconically Odin’s two famous ravens who together represent memory and thought.
The two ravens also serve as an extra pair of eyes and ears for Odin as they travel the skies reporting back everything they see to their master.
