The first trailer for season 2 of Amazon Prime Video’s Good Omens has been confirmed to be dropping on July 7. David Tennant (Doctor Who) and Michael Sheen (Masters of Sex) return as Crowley and Aziraphale. The new instalment of the series is set to drop exclusively on Prime Video this month on July 28.
Season 2 is set to dive into storylines that go beyond the original source material to further explore the unlikely friendship between Tennant’s Crowley and Sheen’s Aziraphale. Crowley is a devious and literal demon with Aziraphale on the opposite side of the fence being an angel.
Details released so far state that the two best friends will be confronted with a surprising mystery from an unexpected messenger while both trying to live an easy life amongst mortals in Soho of London.

Alongside Sheen and Tennant includes cast members Jon Hamm who returns as the archangel Gabriel, with Doon Mackichan as fellow archangel Michael, and Gloria Obianyo as archangel Uriel.
Miranda Richardson plays a demon called Shax this time round, with Maggie Service as Maggie, Nina Sosanya as Nina, with new additions Liz Carr as angel Saraqael, Quelin Sepulveda as angel Muriel, and Shelley Conn as demon Beelzebub.
Good Omens Season 2 releases on Prime Video on July 28.
