A new teaser for Blumhouse’s upcoming live-action Five Nights at Freddy’s movie based on the game with the same name has been “leaked” on social media.

The new promo was shown during Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights, where Five Nights at Freddy’s was showcased for both horror fans and eager die-hard fans of Scott Cawthon / Steel Wool Studios’ FNAF franchise.
New Five Nights at Freddy’s Spot Revealed
Blumhouse’s exclusive promotional spot for Five Nights at Freddy’s, shown during Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights, is around 30 seconds or so.

It is fairly similar to the official trailer but does indeed contain new footage.

As known, Josh Hutcherson stars as the iconic security guard that many players of the game series will be familiar with. Matthew Lillard on the other hand plays the sinister William Afton aka Spring Bonnie or Springtrap, the evil antagonist.
Many rumours online suggest that the movie’s runtime will be around three hours in length, which would make this one of the longest horrors to come out of Blumhouse.
Its rating has been said to be PG-13, with some online information suggesting that the PG-13 rating would be closer to a 15 by UK film rating standards.

Blumhouse’s live-action Five Nights at Freddy’s releases in both theatres and on Peacock for home streaming on October 27, 2023.
