One segment of the new promo trailer shows a brief teaser for the upcoming spinoff series to the extremely popular The Boys series.
Gen V has always been expected to release in 2023, however, it just wasn’t clear as to when exactly Prime Video intended on dropping it.
Who’s In Prime Video’s Gen V Series?
As of writing, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Jaz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Clancy Brown, Jason Ritter, Lizze Broadway, and Shelley Conn, among others, have been confirmed to be starring in the Gen V series.
Character and plot details, however, are mostly being kept under wraps.
The Boys stars Jessie T. Usher and Colby Minifie will be returning to reprise their roles as Reggie Franklin aka A-Train and Ashley Barrett.

P.J. Byrne will also be returning to star as Adam Bourke alongside fellow The Boys star Alexandra Castillo who reprises her role as Vanessa.
It, of course, wouldn’t be an Eric Kripke project without the addition of a couple of stars from his hit series Supernatural.
Alexander Calvert who starred in the key Supernatural role as a Nephilim aka Jack Kline aka the son of Lucifer himself will also be in Gen V.
Fellow Supernatural star Maddie Phillips who only appeared in a couple of Supernatural episodes will also be playing a part in The Boys spinoff.
What Is The Boys’ Gen V Series About?
Set in the same universe as The Boys, this first live-action spinoff will show a group of young hormonal Supes competing against each other.
With the sinister Vought International being the ones pulling all of the strings, as usual, the young Supes compete for the top contracts.

The “top contracts” are the many different exploitative jobs going for talented Supes over at Vought International.
This should come as no surprise to any fan of the main series, however, this new spinoff will really hone in on the fact.
