Prime Video’s official redband trailer for The Boys spinoff series Gen V is here, and it’s even gnarlier than fans expected.

Starring Jaz Sinclair, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Lizze Broadway, Shelley Conn, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Clancy Brown, Asa Germann, Sean Patrick Thomas, Marco Pigossi, Alexander Calvert, and Jason Ritter.
The Boys regulars Jessie T. Usher, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit, and P.J. Byrne will also be reprising their roles for some guest appearances throughout the series’ eight episodes.
Although Homelander’s statue has been seen in both the trailers and posters, it seems that Antony Starr will not be reprising his role.

The synopsis of the series, as stated by Prime Video, reads “Set in the diabolical world of The Boys, Gen V expands the universe to Godolkin University, the prestigious superhero-only college where students train to be the next generation of heroes. Beyond the typical college chaos of finding oneself and partying, these kids are facing explosive situations … literally.”
Judging by the trailer below, Gen V has much more action, and gore, among the other elements often seen in The Boys world but on a much larger scale.
However, fans will just have to wait until the series premieres to properly judge if Gen V surpasses its predecessor in terms of grossing out its audience – in a good way, of course!
