Sony Pictures Animation has officially set its Netflix premiere date for the box office smasher Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The Into the Spider-Verse sequel will officially be available to stream on Netflix starting October 31st.
The Shameik Moore-voiced Spider-Verse franchise has swung in as many box office ticket sales as it has high appraise from both critics and moviegoers alike, with some calling the latest addition the ‘best Spider-Man movie ever made’.
Fellow Marvel star Hailee Steinfeld currently holds two roles in the shared universe, one as the animated Gwen Stacy aka Spider-Woman, the other being her live-action MCU gig as Hawkeye’s partner in crime Kate Bishop.
The team behind the next instalment, and the final addition to the trilogy, are hard at work behind the scenes developing what will be Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.
“This is like my dream job, sign me up over and over again, I got to be comfortable! And it’s a dream to be in a space that feels so comfortable but also creative and free and just exciting to be a part of.”

Miles Morales’ solo movie has been confirmed to be diving into the live-action realm of the Marvel universe post-Spider-Verse, it’s just unclear as to who will be donning the mask.
Although the big swinging animated trilogy is one movie closer to its end, Sony boss Amy Pascal has reassured fans that there’s plenty more to come: “It’s all happening.”
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse comes to Netflix on October 31.
