The first trailer for Warner Bros. Pictures’ DC movie Blue Beetle has officially been released online, however, this release has been revealed to have been an early drop as the original expected time for the trailer to drop was 12 PM EST, April 4.
The DC Asia Official YouTube channel uploaded the video two hours earlier than expected, which has now been taken down which seemingly confirms it was either an accidental upload or possibly a quick tease to get fans excited, regardless of the intention, it has shot Blue Beetle into the trending tabs across social media nonetheless.

The official synopsis for the DC movie reads: “Mexican-American teenager Jaime Reyes gains super powers when a mysterious scarab binds to his spine and provides him with a powerful suit of blue alien armour.”
Blue Beetle‘s cast includes Xolo Maridueña as Jaime Reyes, aka Blue Beetle, George Lopez as Jaime Reyes’ uncle Rudy Reyes, Susan Sarandon as Victoria Kord, Bruna Marquezine as Jenny Kor, with more talented cast members bringing the original DC comic book character to the live-action realm of Warner Bros. Pictures’ DC Universe.
Blue Beetle releases exclusively to theatres on August 18, 2023.
