In the latest news for Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania, Variety reported that Marvel Studios has requested a federal district court in California to issue a subpoena to compel Reddit to identify the person or group responsible for sharing dialogue from “Quantumania” to the r/MarvelStudiosSpoilers subreddit “on or about” Jan. 20, 2023. While the movie continues to stall at the global box office, new concept art from the development of the movie has been released.
Concept artist Thomas du Crest went on Instagram to share early concept art for Ant-Man 3. The post featured images of alternate versions of Chronopolis rendered early on in the visual development process.
Here are some early researches for Chronopolis, the Quantum Realm city under the control of Kang.

The concept art features Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne (still in their Endgame suits) entering Chronopolis.
This version would’ve been very different from the final screenplay since the movie features Scott and Cassie being abducted to Kang’s fortress, while this suggests Scott and Hope Van Dyne go to the fortress together. This version also separates the Ant-Fam into different groups; Scott, Hope; and Janet, Hank, and Cassie. It is possible that this concept revolved around Hank, Janet, and Cassie being imprisoned by Kang, while Scott and Hope attempted to rescue them. Even so, concept art never attempts to go over the entire story and this in particular only served the purpose of visualizing Chronopolis, and it is entirely possible that Scott and Hope are just stand-ins for whatever the script was modified into later on.
This version of Corey Stoll as MODOK would’ve retained been more “frightening” as compared to the comics, while retaining elements from the Yellowjacket suit from Ant-Man.
For this MODOK, the intent was to make him first look more frightening than his look from the comics, with different weapons and the huge face being some totem/ornament/mask. Then for the reveal you have to wait for what’s inside!
