Who Really Bought Tony Stark’s Avengers Tower Reportedly Revealed

The mysterious buyer of Tony Stark’s Avengers Tower in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has reportedly been revealed to be a long-awaited and highly anticipated character that will also reportedly be making a debut during the upcoming Ironheart series on Disney Plus.

The Cosmic Circus leaked the spoiler that Mephisto was the one who bought the Avengers Tower from Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man, aka Tony Stark, in Spider-Man: Homecoming. A mystery that MCU fans have been waiting for over half a decade to discover.

The big surprise will reportedly be revealed during Marvel Studios’ upcoming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever spinoff series Ironheart. Dominique Thorne will reprise the role of Riri Williams aka Ironheart with Mephisto being heavily reported to be introduced once and for all.

This report remains a rumour for now as it has not been confirmed by the cast and crew of Ironheart and will probably be kept a secret until the series premieres on Disney+ later this year.

Who Bought Tony Stark’s Avengers Tower Revealed

Details from the report state that Mephisto was in fact the character who bought the Avengers Tower from RDJ’s Tony Stark, with a mention that it remains unclear as to whether or not Stark was aware of who exactly he was selling the iconic building to.

One interesting character trait that this report potentially reveals is that Mephisto may be fascinated with using technology despite being more on the magical side of the MCU. It could just be that Mephisto bought the tower for kicks or has sinister plans to become a powerful figure while disguised as an everyday citizen of New York City.

Ironheart is expected to premiere on Disney+ sometime in 2023 or 2024.
