The Marvels Post-Credit Scene Description
The rumour claims that The Marvels’ post-credit scene will feature Parris’ Monica Rambeau travelling to another universe, which is a common theme in the MCU due to it being in a multiverse phase.
This universe is said to be the original Fox/X-Men universe, where Monica reportedly meets Grammer’s Beast alongside a variant of her mother Maria, played by Lashana Lynch – except this time, her mother is a mutant called Binary.
Lynch was last seen in the MCU as another variant of her original Captain Marvel character in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness – meaning this is something that could potentially happen.
It’s described that Charles Xavier’s name is mentioned, a character famously played by Patrick Stuart in the original Fox X-Men trilogy – and then in future instalments such as Days of Future Past and Logan.
According to the rumour, the ending of the post-credit scene is a reveal that Monica is indeed inside the X-Men Mansion – with a description that she is directly under the mansion in the “subbasement”.
As to how much truth exists within this rumour has yet to be seen, Marvel fans don’t have much longer to wait until the movie releases next month to find out all the details.
The Marvels comes to theatres on November 10, 2023.
