Zack Snyder’s upcoming 2023 Netflix movie Rebel Moon will reportedly be releasing its long-awaited trailer next week on Tuesday, August 22.
The release date was shared online publicly by a popular inside tipster that goes by the name MyTimeToShineHello, however, it has yet to be confirmed by Netflix.

Intrigued movie buffs and Snyder’s fans have shown high hopes, expectations, and anticipation for Rebel Moon since it was announced.
What Is Rebel Moon? Star Wars History
Snyder originally intended for Rebel Moon to be a Star Wars movie which was intended to produce a darker and more mature take on George Lucas’ universe.
However, his pitch was later rejected after Walt Disney Co. bought Lucasfilm for over $4 billion back in 2012 who ended up taking a much more family-friendly approach.
From what Star Wars fans have seen and heard, it’s apparent that Snyder’s idea has garnered the interest from, potentially, millions of Lucas fans alone.

One thing’s for sure, anyone who watched the Force Awakens trilogy should get a rough idea as to which direction it could have gone once Rebel Moon releases.
Starring in the Netflix Christmas biggie has Sofia Boutella, Charlie Hunnam, Anthony Hopkins, Ray Fisher, with Djimon Hounsou, among others.
