The then-titled Captain America: New World Order is now 10 weeks deep into production. Filming for the movie began on March 21 this year in Atlanta, Georgia, and is expected to conclude by July 21.
Julius Onah is helming the film, while the screenplay is co-written by Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson.
Captain America 4 star Anthony Mackie went on Instagram to share a filming update for the movie. Attached to the post was our first look at Harrison Ford and Anthony Mackie on the set of Captain America 4.
Mackie also revealed that the film has been renamed to Captain America: Brave New World. The release date for the film remains unchanged.
The post was captioned:
When Harrison Ford tells you how kicking ass should look, you listen! LoL… Thanks for the on set wisdom and laughs my friend! Can’t wait to do it again… Marvel Studios’ Captain America: Brave New World in theaters May 3, 2024

Looking at the display on the top right of the image, it is apparent that Mackie will don his The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Captain America suit at some point in the movie.
The display behind Ford seems to display pre-visualisation footage. The crew chairs feature an updated logo with a white and red color scheme, contrasting to the previous white and blue palette.
The cast of the movie includes Anthony Mackie (Sam Wilson), Tim Blake Nelson (Samuel Sterns), Shira Haas (Sabra), Danny Ramirez (Joaquin Torres), Xosha Roquemore, Liv Tyler (Betty Ross), and Carl Lumbly (Isaiah Bradley).
