Matthew Vaughn, the director of the original “Kick-Ass“ movies, is back with a new trilogy of films that will reboot the franchise.
According to Variety, the second film in the trilogy will be reportedly called The Stuntman and is currently in production.
The Stuntman is directed by Damien Walters, a former stuntman himself, and follows the story of two brothers who pursue careers as stuntmen.
The film is produced by Vaughn's Marv Studios and Walters' Zebbo Productions.
The first film in the trilogy, School Fight, has already been completed and is awaiting release.
School Fight is also directed by Walters and centres on a teenage boy who gets into a brawl with his rival over a girl at school.

The third and final film in the trilogy will be a Kick-Ass reboot, which Vaughn teased in October 2023.
He told Entertainment Weekly that he wanted to change the perception of superhero films again, as he did with the original Kick-Ass.
Vaughn explained: “We're doing it again. None of the other characters from the other Kick-Ass are in it, though we'd like to have them back after the reboot.”
He added: “I can't really talk about it, but it's fun!”
