While talking to popular interviewer The Movie Dweeb, Guardians of the Galaxy star Will Poulter shared his interest in the Star Wars cinematic universe.
While on the topic, Poulter was asked if he had ventured into the gaming side of the universe, and if he had ever given Jedi: Fallen Order a go.
His response: “I haven’t.”
However, despite not playing the game, the actor would still consider playing its lead character Cal Kestis, if the opportunity ever came his way.

When told by The Movie Dweeb, aka Daniel Merrifield, Poulter was made aware that “a lot of people have been saying that you and him are quite similar, like, physically; in your face.”
This prompted the question, would Poulter be interested in playing Kestis, to which he grinningly responded: “I definitely would not say no.”
He continued, “I mean, I was a huge Star Wars fan as a kid.”
“I can remember wearing a brown bathrobe and getting a lightsaber and, like, that being kinda – I think – I think I painted, like, a wrapping paper tube, you know like the cardboard tube?”
“I painted that neon and then brown bathrobe… and I kinda [mimics lightsaber movements with hands], oh yeah, I was living my Star Wars fantasy for a while then.”
“It was great,” he added.

Although Poulter would clearly be interested in joining the franchise, it should be noted that actor Cameron Monaghan, who plays Cal Kestis in the games, would be the best choice.
Monaghan has openly said in the past that he would be happy to take on the role in live-action, along with the game’s fandom, who would equally be as thrilled.
That being said… Cal Kestis has yet to be confirmed for any live-action project.
Let us know what you think, who should play Cal Kestis in live-action?
