The Walking Dead and Black Panther star Danai Gurira has provided a hopeful update on her MCU co-star Daniel Kaluuya making his return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The Across the Spider-Verse star last appeared in the MCU six years ago.
Gurira stars in the franchise as Dora Milaje, with Kaluuya’s W’Kabi being her husband.

Although the two stars’ marriage was mostly cut out of the original Black Panther movie, fans are more than aware of their dynamic due to eagerly finding out all the details.
The two also shared some moments in deleted scenes from the first movie, which they starred alongside the late Chadwick Boseman who originally donned the MCU title of Black Panther.
His role was later passed to his character’s sister Shuri, played by Letitia Wright, in Wakanda Forever.
Although Gurira returned as Okoye for the sequel, Kaluuya was nowhere to be seen.

When asked about Kaluuya’s return to the MCU by Metro, Gurira teased the possibility.
“I think it’s very possible,” she told the outlet.
However, she went on to state that she isn’t sure when or even if it will happen, “I have no idea, I’m just speculating like you, but I think it’s very possible that we’ll see more of W’Kabi.”
“I can’t imagine why we wouldn’t,” she added.
“He’s a fantastic character.”
“Daniel Kaluuya is unbelievable. So I think there’s no reason why we wouldn’t see more of him and of course, that interaction is at the core of it all,” she continued.
“I think that’d be interesting.”
