Grimm is officially getting a movie and it’s coming to Peacock!
As per Variety, the six-season series which ended in 2017 will be getting its own reboot treatment with the potential for a continuation of some kind.
No release date has been set.

Drop Dead Diva creator Josh Berman has been tapped to write the movie as well as executive produce alongside original showrunners David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf.
Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner are also returning as executive producers.
With the original series creatives returning, it’s fair to assume that the movie won’t be set to remake the franchise but breathe new life into it.
However, plot details and casting information is currently under wraps.
David Giuntoli originally starred as the show’s lead star, Nick Burkhardt, who kicked off the story when finding out he is a Grimm.
Similar to fellow shows like Supernatural, Grimm leaned into bringing folklore and fairytale characters to life for Nick to investigate.
Silas Weir Mitchell also starred as a Wesen called Monroe alongside Russell Hornsby who starred as Detective Hank Griffin.

The news of Grimm getting a movie comes after a spinoff was previously announced, before being axed before finishing its development stage.
Elizabeth Tulloch, who starred as Juliette Silverton in the original show, is still married to her co-star Giuntoli.
As mentioned, it’s unclear if anybody from the original series will be returning, assuming that the movie won’t be remaking the story.
Stay tuned for updates.
