Jason Momoa has been called out as the worst celebrity by popular live streamer Valkyrae, who has accused the actor of mistreating people on the set of the live-action Minecraft movie.
Momoa is said to have been caught “yelling” at Minecraft crew members, which the popular creator says she saw in person while on the set of the movie, an experience she calls “disappointing”.
Valkyrae revealed her experience while talking with fellow streamer JasonTheWeen.
When asked to talk about her worst “celebrity or streamer experience”, Valkyrae discussed how she herself has a cameo in the upcoming movie, as well as calling out Jason Momoa.
“How do I say this?”
“So, Minecraft movie, I have a cameo in the Minecraft movie that’s coming out,” she began to explain.
“So, I would have to say Jason Momoa”, she added in response to the question.
She continued to detail her experience, adding how she isn’t entirely sure if he was simply in character while mistreating crew members, as his Minecraft character’s personality may also fit that description.
“I just saw him mistreat some of the crew,” she added.
“It was pretty disappointing.”
She continued to explain and speculate: “It was after a very intense scene, and it was a very emotional scene, so maybe he was still in character.”
“I don’t know,” she added.
“I just was kind of surprised by how he treated some of the crew.”
“He was just, like, he was just really mad at them, and they weren’t doing something right,” she continued.
“It was like setting up the shot, and stuff.”
“He was just angry, like really mad, and yelling.”
Valkyrae went on to claim that the “work environment” as a whole was negative, describing the movie set as somewhere where she wouldn’t feel “happy working” in.
“So, I was like, ‘Man, this is not a good work environment. I would not be happy working under these conditions.'”.
She added: “So, yeah, I would probably have to say that was probably the worst celebrity thing I’ve seen.”
