Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze is officially heading back to theatres in 2026 for its 35th anniversary, as announced today by Fathom Entertainment, Saga Arts, and Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group.

This comes after its predecessor, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, made a splash at the box office during its own 35th anniversary theatrical re-release.

Following the first movie’s successful re-release, banking in $3.3 million at the domestic box office as of this morning, it will now be getting an extended run in theatres, from August 22nd to August 28th.

Dates, Tickets and More

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will extend its run in select U.S. theatres nationwide for a full second week, from August 22nd through to August 28th.

Tickets for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 35th anniversary are available and can be found at Fathom Entertainment and participating theatre box offices.

Tickets for Secret of the Ooze‘s re-release will officially go on sale in early 2026, so stay tuned for those.

“The devoted fans of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise have shown up in droves with so much passion and enthusiasm in celebration of the iconic film’s 35th anniversary,” said Ray Nutt, Fathom Entertainment’s Chief Executive Officer.

“Fathom Entertainment is thrilled to extend its theatrical run for a third time and add an additional full week in select theatres until August 28.”

“Even better, we have confirmed with our partners that Fathom is bringing back the 1991 sequel to the big screen in March 2026.”

“With more than $3M in box office revenues in the early days of its theatrical return engagement. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 35th Anniversary is currently the highest-grossing 2025 classic/repertory film for Fathom Entertainment.”
