Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is swinging back into action with some exciting updates for Spider-Man 4.

According to Hollywood leaker Daniel Richtman, the sequel is set to begin production in the UK on May 25, 2025, and will wrap up in October 2025.

Before donning the Spidey suit again, Holland will first complete filming for Avengers: Doomsday, making 2025 a massive year for his character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

This timeline gives fans a clearer picture of where Holland’s Spider-Man is headed after Spider-Man: No Way Home left Peter Parker in a game-changing place.

At the end of No Way Home, Peter makes a heartbreaking sacrifice, asking Doctor Strange to cast a spell that erases everyone’s memory of him, including his best friends MJ (Zendaya) and Ned (Jacob Batalon).

The final scenes show Peter moving into a modest apartment, embracing a new chapter as a more grounded, independent hero—closer to his comic book roots. This decision strips Peter of his Stark tech and Avengers connections, marking a fresh start.

However, it seems that Peter’s solo adventure will not remain street-level for long.

Early rumours hinted that Spider-Man 4 might focus on a gritty team-up with Daredevil to take down Kingpin, but newer reports suggest that the movie will dive into multiverse territory.

This shift is likely connected to the events of Avengers: Doomsday, where Holland’s Spider-Man is expected to play a critical role.

Holland’s Spider-Man is clearly being positioned for a larger, more impactful role in the MCU’s future, and with both Avengers: Doomsday and Spider-Man 4 on the horizon, fans can expect to see Peter Parker swinging through some of the MCU’s most ambitious storylines to date.

Spider-Man 4 is currently slated for a July 2026 release, between Doomsday and Secret Wars, making it a key puzzle piece in Marvel’s unfolding saga.
