Milly Alcock, the new face of Superman’s famous cousin Kara Zor-El in James Gunn’s DC Universe, is set to make her Supergirl debut in a couple months.
In addition to Milly’s DCU debut, past Aquaman star Jason Momoa will also be making a splash, this time as Lobo – the DC character he originally had his eyes on playing.
Since the Supergirl torch will be getting passed down to Milly from past stars such as Sasha Calle and Melissa Benoist, the first thought would be that they all got into a group chat together.
However, it turns out they haven’t even spoken to each other at all.
Milly Alcock Talks Not Talking To Supergirls

While talking to Vanity Fair, the House of the Dragon star was asked if she had spoken with past Supergirl stars about taking on the role.
Her response: “They’re just people living their lives.”
“It’s not like we have this blood bond.”
Which, in short, was confirmation that she has not.
It also seems to be her way of saying that she didn’t feel the need to reach out to any past stars, likely because each new iteration is a brand-new take on the performance.
Regardless, it’s likely they’ll cross paths eventually, so not all hope is lost on that front.
Supergirl comes to theatres June 26, 2026.
