Aubrey Plaza, known for her quirky and often deadpan humour, recently gave some rather unconventional advice regarding her on-set wardrobe… or lack thereof.
During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Plaza revealed that she never wears underwear while filming.
This tidbit came out during a conversation with her My Old Ass co-star Maisy Stella, where Plaza joked about her discomfort in a scene, saying, “Maybe I should’ve worn underwear, but I never do.”
“And then I get fu**ed,” in typical Plaza fashion, blending humour with a candid admission.
The reason behind this unusual habit?
Plaza explained that she likes to maintain a “malleable” state while acting.
She emphasized the importance of being physically prepared, saying, “Get whatever fluids out.”
“Be like an empty vessel.”
In her words, not wearing underwear helps in achieving this state by allowing her body to be completely free of constraints.
She broadened her underwear-free lifestyle to general life wisdom, saying, “Don’t ever wear underwear in life.”
While it’s unclear how seriously Plaza takes her own words, her advice has already gone viral.
