Kate Hudson teases How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days sequel with Matthew McConaughey

The 2003 Rom-Com is considered a cult classic starring Kate Hudson and Mathew McConaughey.

Even 20 years later, fans of the film are still eager to see the pair reunite.

How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days stars Hudson as a magazine writer and McConaughey as a marketing executive. After entering this fake relationship under their own pretences and real intentions, the two end up falling in love.

Based on the book by Michele Alexander, the film grossed $177.5 million at the box office and is considered a rom-com must-watch.

In an interview with ET, Hudson shared how the legacy of the film has followed her over 20 years later.

When asked about the possibility of a sequel, she admitted that she had heard that question a lot.

“I’ve been asked this for years, honestly it’s just so funny.”

The pair did star in another film together in 2008, Fool’s Gold, an action comedy where they played ex-husband and wife.

“We just need to bite the bullet and do it.”

Although it is a want by fans and Hudson seemed keen to do it, nothing is officially in the works.

She continued by stating that they “might be in our 70’s” by the time they get around to filming it.
