Saw XI is ‘100% over’ as movie reportedly gets cancelled after ‘producers started fighting’

"It's totally dead."

Saw fans… you might wanna sit down.

It sounds like the long-awaited Saw XI is officially slashed.

According to Bloody Disgusting, the horror movie following 2023’s Saw X is considered cancelled after “producers started fighting” early last year.

“It’s totally dead,” the outlet’s source tells them.

“It’s 100% over,” the source added.

“Almost a year now.”

Similar to Saw X, veteran franchise stars Tobin Bell and Shawnee Smith were set to return as John Kramer and Amanda Young.

Costas Mandylor was also set to reprise his role as Mark Hoffman.

Despite initially being planned to release on September 27, 2024, the movie was later delayed to September 26, 2025.

However, “everything went sideways in January 2024.”

“The producers started fighting,” the source claims.

The source added that one producer tried to “plough forward” with the movie, while another caused production issues by putting up “roadblocks”.

“[Lionsgate] didn’t have anyone to smooth over the disagreement.”

Fans of the two-decade-long horror movie saga eagerly awaited to dive back into Jigsaw’s world and, hopefully, tie up loose ends.

“But why would they cancel or shelf the project if Saw X was a literal box office success,” one fan questioned.

“I will be so upset if it’s cancelled,” another added.

“We deserve an apology,” a third chimed in.

“Why would they ruin my day like this,” a fourth said.

Some, however, weren’t as gutted.

“Good, we didn’t need another Saw or Scream film lol.”

“SAW 11 CANCELLED BEFORE GTA 6.”

“At least the franchise ended on a slightly high note.”
