In a shocking incident, 20-year-old YouTuber and streamer Jack Doherty crashed his $200,000 (£150,000) custom McLaren during a live broadcast.
The crash, which occurred while Doherty was streaming on the platform Kick, was witnessed by over 185,000 viewers.
Doherty, known for his prank videos and often reckless behaviour, lost control of the supercar while driving on a rainy dual carriageway, allegedly distracted by his phone as he interacted with his audience.

The footage shows Doherty’s McLaren hydroplaning before smashing into a roadside barrier.
Despite the severity of the accident, both Doherty and his cameraman, Michael, who was sitting in the passenger seat, escaped serious injury.
Michael, however, was seen bleeding from his face, likely due to the impact, and later required stitches.
Rather than immediately checking on his friend, Doherty’s reaction was… less than ideal.

Surprisingly, instead of attending to his friend immediately, Doherty turned the camera towards him and asked if he could keep filming.
“My f**king car, holy s**t no,” Doherty said, with an apparent lack of concern for his cameraman’s safety.
The incident quickly went viral, drawing widespread criticism.
Many viewers were outraged, demanding that Doherty face legal consequences for reckless driving, with calls for his license to be revoked and even jail time.
His actions, especially filming while driving in such dangerous conditions, fueled the backlash.
As a result, Doherty’s Kick streaming account was suspended, adding to the growing condemnation online.
