Horror director Damien Leone confirms Terrifier 4 ahead of his third movie’s theatrical release

Director Damien Leone, creator of the viral horror sensation behind Art the Clown, has officially confirmed that Terrifier 4 is in the works ahead of his third movie’s theatrical release.

Terrifier 3 is currently set to hit the big screen on October 11, next month as of writing.

Leone confirmed the news during a Q&A at the third instalment’s premiere Thursday at Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas – however, no specific details were shared.

“Yes, there will be a Terrifier 4,” Leone confirmed.

The soon-to-be horror trilogy may have stirred up its fair share of controversy and divided opinions, however, its box office earnings prove that it’s right up there with horror fans worldwide.

Although the first movie’s main success was amassing its viral fanbase, Terrifier 2 went on to earn an incredibly impressive $15 million at the box office on its modest $250,000 budget.

Judging by its expectations being overly met, with its box office intake surpassing its budget by a long shot, it’s no surprise that Leone is eager for Art the Clown to continue his journey on the big screen.

It’s currently unclear as to when Terrifier 4 is set to release, however, it could be safe to assume that Leone, his cast and team, will be aiming for a 2025 or early 2026 release.

Returning as Art the Clown in Terrifier 3 is actor David Howard Thornton.

Joining Thornton includes fellow returnee Lauren LaVera as SIenna, Elliot Fullam as Jonathan Shaw, Samantha Scaffidi as Victoria Heyes, with Chris Jericho as Burke.

Art the Clown has quickly become a horror sensation, joining infamous gory legends such as Freddy Krueger, Michael Myers, and Chucky, among all other horror hall of famers.
