Tom Hardy offers to pay over $300,000 to unpaid crew members on his latest project

Tom Hardy is set to star in Guy Ritchie’s upcoming gangster series, Fixer, which is set to premier on Paramount+ in 2025.

Hardy’s character helps to resolve conflicts between gangs.

However, Hardy soon learned that around 50 crew members were facing the possibility of not being paid for their work.

The Venom actor generously offered to pay $317k oh his own money for the crew to be fairly paid.

Although he offered to pay all of the workers’ wages, the studio executives intervened.

An insider at Paramount shared that the company was “outraged” by the situation and was quickly dealing with it.

“[Hardy] offered to [pay], but the production and Paramount have sorted the payment.”

Fixer is set to have an all-star cast, including Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren, who will star as Mr and Mrs Harrigan, heads of one of the most successful organized crime families in London.

Hardy’s character, Harry Da Souza, is the Harrigan’s “fixer”, and helps them deal with their problems.

The synopsis for the series reads: “Two warring families based in London whose enterprises stretch all corners of the globe and the fiercely loyal ‘fixer’ charged with protecting one of them at all costs”.
