British professional quizzer Anne Hegerty, who is well known as “The Governess” on the popular quiz show The Chase, has revealed which movie franchises she would love to star in.
Her recent role as nosey neighbour Barb, in a short film that was shown at the Genesis Theatre in London, has made Anne want to continue her on-screen acting career.
Whilst talking to BBC Counties radio, Hegerty revealed her dream movies she wishes to be in “I like an action movie, not that I’m very good at action but I can be the person that sits behind the desk and tells everybody to go out.”
“I’d love to be in the next James Bond film, I’d love to be in the MCU [Marvel Cinematic Universe], anything like that,” Hegerty revealed.
“I’ve always been interested in cinema since I was a child,” she added.
“So anybody that has anything to offer will be absolutely fine.”
However, The Chase star revealed she would not be giving up her role as “The Governess” anytime soon, stating that “The Chase always comes first”.
She continued to discuss her role in the short film: “It’s the first time I’ve done any cinema acting, it was brilliant, I’d love to do more.”
Could Hegerty be up for a villain role in a future franchise movie project?
Perhaps she may just be keen on at least getting some sort of cameo in the MCU, only time will tell!
