Elizabeth Hurley’s son shares surprising reaction to her romance with Billy Ray Cyrus shock reveal

Elizabeth Hurley and Billy Ray Cyrus surprised fans over the weekend by revealing they’re now a couple.

The pair shared their relationship status with a PDA-filled Instagram post on Easter Sunday. In the photo, Cyrus wore bunny ears and kissed Hurley on the cheek. Hurley simply captioned the post, “Happy Easter.”

Her 21-year-old son Damian, didn’t seem fazed by the news. He responded with two celebratory emojis, suggesting he’s on board with the new romance. Model and TV host Heidi Klum also showed support in the comments.

Miley Cyrus’ dad, who owns a farm in Tennessee, has known Elizabeth for a while.

They acted together in the 2022 comedy Christmas in Paradise, alongside Frasier star Kelsey Grammer.

Even though they hadn’t posted photos together or mentioned each other online before, just days ahead of what looked like their official debut as a couple, Elizabeth posted an Instagram video of herself playing in the ocean in a bikini, with Billy Ray’s 1992 song “She’s Not Cryin’ Anymore” playing in the background.

Cyrus, 62, split from singer Firerose last year after a brief seven-month marriage.

Before that, he was married to Tish Finley for three decades.

They share five children: Brandi, Miley, Noah, Braison and Trace.

He also has another son, Christopher, from a previous relationship.

Hurley, 58, has one son, Damian, with the late businessman Steve Bing.

She was also married to Indian tycoon Arun Nayar from 2007 to 2011.

Before that, she famously dated actor Hugh Grant for over a decade.

Although they broke up in 2000, Hurley has often called Grant her “best friend.”

The new romance comes after a rocky few months for Cyrus. In January, he performed at an event tied to Donald Trump and was widely criticised for his hoarse vocals and sound issues. 

His son Trace later posted a public message urging him to “seek help.”

He wrote, “We are all hanging on to memories of the man we once knew & hoping for the day he returns. You’re not healthy Dad & everyone is noticing it.”
