Brad Pitt feels ‘weight has been lifted’ after finalising complicated divorce from Angelina Jolie

ByVinay Sharma

Brad Pitt is reportedly in a better place than ever after officially concluding his drawn-out divorce from his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie.

Following the finalization of their protracted divorce, the 61-year-old actor is said to be embracing a fresh start with optimism, putting years of legal and emotional struggles behind him.

According to US Weekly, a source close to Pitt shared that he feels like “a weight has been lifted” after the eight-year legal battle.

The insider added, “Brad wants to get his life back on track and put this behind him. He can start over again.”

He’s focusing on repairing relationships with his six children - Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne, now 16.

In addition to his career and family goals, Pitt has been leaning on his relationship with Ines de Ramon, a 35-year-old jewellery executive he has been dating for two years.

According to reports, Ines de Ramon has played a key role in helping Brad Pitt find peace and closure. A source explained, “Ines helped Brad move forward and see the divorce in a new light.”

Another insider revealed that Pitt’s relationship with de Ramon has been transformative, describing it as a “fresh breath of air” after his tumultuous time with Angelina Jolie.

The source added, “They’re madly in love and make a great team. Brad is happier than ever.”

De Ramon’s influence also reportedly encouraged Pitt to finalize his divorce. An earlier report from US Weekly suggested that her calm and grounded outlook inspired him to focus on achieving closure.

A source explained, “She’s very zen and doesn’t like conflict or negativity. She wants Brad to find peace, forgiveness, and move on. From her perspective, it doesn’t make sense for him to hold on to all the animosity.”

Professionally, Pitt is gearing up for the release of his highly anticipated race car film F1, slated to hit theatres on June 27, 2025.
