The once-coveted 90s star Cameron Diaz, who starred in Charlie’s Angels and There’s Something About Mary, has made her way back to the screens after announcing her retirement in 2018.
Diaz is teaming up with Jamie Foxx for a new Netflix movie, Back in Action.
The movie is based on two former CIA spies who are pulled back into their work after their secret identities are exposed, is due to be released on January 17th 2025.

This is not the first movie Foxx and Diaz have done together; they also worked on the 2014 family movie Annie together.
In 1999, they also released their first movie together, Any Given Sunday, which is based on an American football team.
There were rumours floating around that Foxx was difficult to work with, which Diaz quickly shut down.
While talking on the Lipstick on the Rim podcast, she revealed Foxx was a “cheerleader” on set.
“I really hate all of the things that were being said about our set at the time,” she said.

“You just want to scream at the top of your lungs, like, ‘What are you talking about?’”
Jamie is, like, the cheerleader for the entire crew; everybody loves him.”
“We have so much fun on the set with him, and he’s just a professional on every level.”
