Hollywood action hero legend Chuck Norris has announced the death of his mother, Wilma Norris Knight, in a lengthy heartwarming tribute post celebrating her life.
In his post, he shared various images with his mother, Wilma, along with describing how she was a “beacon of light” for his entire family.
She was 103.
“Wednesday morning, my brother Aaron and I’s wonderful mother went home to be with Jesus,” Chuck began to write in his announcement tribute post.
He continued: “Our mom was a woman of unwavering faith, a beacon of light in our lives, and her love reflected God’s grace.”
“Growing up, her laughter filled our home with joy, and her hugs provided a sense of safety that we will forever cherish,” the Expendables 2 actor added.
“She had a remarkable way of making everyone feel special, often putting the needs of others before her own.”
“From my earliest memories, she taught me the importance of kindness and compassion.”
“I am so thankful for the countless lessons she shared, the prayers she lifted for us, and the way she embodied the love of Christ every day.”
He concluded his post with a sweet sentiment, “We love you, Mom.”
“Until we meet again.”
Wilma, as mentioned, lived for an impressive 103 years.
Her son Chuck jokingly but lovingly said in a post last year, celebrating her birthday, that she was “so full of life” that she could “make it another 100 years!”
He also added how he “wouldn’t be the man” he is today, without his mother.
