Chucky actress Jennifer Tilly was once married to The Simpsons co-creator Sam Simon until they divorced in 1991.
The two exchanged vows in 1984, six years before The Simpsons first aired as it turns out Tilly received a significant chunk of money in her divorce settlement.
Sam Simon unfortunately passed away in 2015 due to terminal colorectal cancer, whilst he contributed to other successful TV shows such as The George Carlin Show and he wrote for Taxi and Cheers.

Tilly, who joined season 14 of The Real Housewives of Beverley Hills, gave some insights into her finances, although she “doesn’t think she’s rich.”
“My ex-husband was Sam Simon, who created The Simpsons. I was married to him for seven years and we were together for about 10 years,” she revealed on the show.
“And then when we got divorced, I got a piece of The Simpsons in the divorce settlement, and nobody knew that The Simpsons was going to go on for trillions of years.”
“So every day, honestly, every day I’m like, ‘Thank you, Sam.'” She added.
In a recent interview with E! News, she discussed a little bit of her lavish lifestyle to which some may disagree that she is a bit “delusional.”
“I don’t think of myself as rich, but I guess I’m delusional because I do have several properties and a purse apparently, that cost $33,000,” Tilly revealed.
“But actually, it didn’t.”
“It cost $22,000 which, I’m just setting that straight right now.”

“I actually did tell them I was wearing a bunch of Bvlgari bracelets and they were like, ‘Ooh Jennifer how much are those? We’d like to put a price at the bottom [of the screen].'”
To which she told them “No” whilst laughing, she then added that not everyone is aware she recieved a piece of The Simpsons, although not a large piece but enough to help her along.
“It’s not a large piece,” Tilly said.
“My boyfriend and I live very simply in a very small, cluttered house.”
“And yes, there’s a giant house next door, but we don’t go there.”
“So I guess we’re kind of delusional.”
