Former Impractical Jokers star Joe Gatto facing assault allegations from girl when she was 19

A serious accusation has surfaced against the former Impractical Jokers star Joe Gatto.

Gatto, who left the hit comedy series in 2021, has been accused of sexual assault by a TikTok user.

In a video posted on March 20, the woman, known on TikTok as “joozyb”, claimed, “I got sexually assaulted by Joe Gatto, the ‘Impractical Joker’.”

In a follow-up video, she detailed how she encountered Gatto in Milwaukee in September 2023.

According to her account, she, her sister, and her mother approached him for a photo during brunch at a restaurant.

Later that day, she messaged him on Instagram, hoping to secure tickets to his show.

Gatto, now 48, allegedly responded by offering her two tickets to his comedy performance at Milwaukee’s Pabst Theater, as well as meet-and-greet passes.

His official calendar confirmed a show in Milwaukee on September 8, 2023.

The TikToker said she attended the event alone and met Gatto afterwards before heading home.

She alleged that later that night while drinking with her roommate, she continued exchanging Instagram messages with him.

She claimed, “I was drunk, whatever, and he was texting me all this stuff.”

“It was starting to get a little weird, you know,” she added.

She also alleged that Gatto switched their chat to vanish mode, a feature that causes Instagram messages to disappear once the conversation ends or the setting is turned off.

The woman claimed that Gatto provided instructions to reach his hotel, where someone helped her access the elevator.

Although she did not share full details of the encounter, she alleged that “some stuff happened” after she arrived at his hotel.

She also shared a photo showing a hotel timestamp of 2:26 a.m. on September 9, 2023, which she claimed marked when she left the location.

Before sharing these details, she posted images of herself with Gatto and screenshots she claimed were from their private messages.

In a later TikTok, she also posted a photo of bruising, alleging it resulted from the incident.

According to her caption, she wrote, “Yes he did S.A me.”

“Yes, he had JUST gotten back together with his wife.”
