Hollywood action legend Arnold Schwarzenegger ‘swatted’ by LAPD in Thanksgiving threat prank

PublishedLast updated

Predator and Terminator star Arnold Schwarzenegger was reportedly “swatted” on Thanksgiving, November 28, in a vicious prank, as per TMZ.

Schwarzenegger is said to have not been present during the “threat”, instead, he was at the gym making some gains before enjoying his Thanksgiving meal.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ, “LAPD responded to a call that a bomb had been placed in the actor-turned-politican’s mailbox at his Los Angeles-area home.”

“We’re told cops rushed to the home and searched the mailbox and surrounding area.”

“But, they did not find an explosive device.”

Reportedly Schwarzenegger’s security team spoke to officers.

“It’d be virtually impossible to plant a bomb at the home, given the star has round-the-clock security and video surveillance.”

“LAPD is treating this as a swatting… but no arrests have been made yet,” they added.

Sources close to the actor are apparently grateful to the officers who responded to the bomb threat, especially since it is the holidays.

The action legend spent the days leading up to Thanksgiving helping hundreds of people in need.

Schwarzenegger joined True Lies co-star Tom Arnold in giving out over 1,000 frozen turkeys, tortillas, and other fresh local produce to local families.
