Jessica Simpson is going to extreme lengths to keep her vocal cords in top shape.

The popular American singer recently surprised fans by revealing that she has been sipping on a Chinese herbal cocktail that contains snake sperm.

Simpson shared the revelation in an Instagram video on Friday, discussing the unusual concoction.

She explained that her vocal coach recommended the drink, and she had been using it without realizing the unique ingredient.

She said,  “My friends were like, ‘What are you drinking?’” she said with a laugh.

“I’m like, ‘It’s this Chinese herb thing… my vocal coach told me to drink it.’”

The unexpected detail came to light after one of her friends looked up the ingredient list.

Despite the shock, Simpson didn’t seem fazed.

She even compared it to honey, joking in the video, “So, if you wanna have good vocals, you gotta drink snake sperm.”

She captioned the post with a microphone emoji, along with a snake and a test tube emoji, embracing the bizarre moment.

Fans flooded the comments with a mix of amusement and nostalgia.

One user joked, “The new Chicken of the Sea moment,” referencing her famous reality TV blunder.

Another commented, “Lol. hilarious and still so carefree.”

A third user wrote, “Hahaha, that’s the Jess we (your fans) know and love.”

While another user chimed in, “Jess need a show with her Sister.”

Interestingly, Simpson isn’t the only celebrity who has explored unconventional remedies.

Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Aniston reportedly used salmon sperm in skincare routines to maintain their youthful glow.
