Keira Knightley refuses to have anymore children because of a certain animated cartoon character

"I could even do the birth, but I cannot watch any more..."

Pirates of the Caribbean star Keira Knightley has two children, Edie (9) and Delilah (5), with her husband, James Righton.

The couple, who have been married since 2013, met in 2011 at a dinner party after being introduced by mutual friends.

They both decided to keep their children out of the spotlight, but Knightley often discusses small parts of her motherhood journey in interviews.

Telling Elle during an interview, “The love thing is astonishing”

“It’s a very primal, primal love. That’s quite extraordinary,” she added.

She hilariously admitted in a recent TV interview with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show that she doesn’t want any more children.

The reason being is one thing that many parents would agree with, it’s all down to that one pink character that oinks and screams…. Peppa Pig.

“You know that thing where you’re like ‘Oh, you know they’re so nice. Should we have another one?’” “And you think, ‘Oh yeah, I could do the pregnancy.'”

“I could even do the birth, but I cannot watch any more Peppa Pig,” she jokingly admitted.

“So there’s no more kids.”

Many parents refuse to let their children watch Peppa Pig; experts believe it can encourage bad behaviour.

Behavioural consultant Sophie Giles spoke to Fabulous Magazine (as per The Sun) revealing what children shows she believes are not good for your children to watch.

“It is interesting how incredibly patronising [the way Daddy Pig is spoken to] can be in the English version,” the expert said.

“How the characters stress that dialogue and how the director allowed that to happen.”

“It can really skew what your child comes away with – and you know, kids love it!”

Other cartoons she mentioned were PAW Patrol and Bluey, adding that Bluey’s father, Bandit, gets bullied a lot in the show by pretty much everyone.

“In Bluey, for example, the daddy’s constantly being bullied because everybody calls him a bit silly.”

“A bit stupid, a bit crazy, a bit whatever – nobody listens to him.”

“He gets disparaged quite a lot in the show.”
