Jonas Brothers member, Nick Jonas, seemingly ran off the stage after fearing for his life as a fan used a laser pen pointed towards him.
Whilst at a concert in Prague, footage that first emerged on social media Nick can be seen quickly running off the stage down the stairs whilst doing a time-out gesture with his hands.
In slowed-down footage, you can see the red laser directly on his head, a representative from the O2 Arena in Prague spoke to Variety revealing their performance was interrupted for a short while.
“We can confirm that the Jonas Brothers’ performance had to be interrupted for several minutes due to the use of a prohibited laser pointer by the person,” the rep said.
“The organizing service responded to this fact. After a few minutes, the band continued their performance.”
Representatives for the Jonas Brothers have yet to make a statement regarding the alarming incident that caused Nick to panic.
Fans are expressing their concerns about people who think this is a laughing matter, with one stating, “Nothing funny about this, especially for him as a Father.”
“Way to move quickly and take it seriously.”
Another commented, “Well there was bombings and shootings at concerts and music festivals”.
“I don’t blame him one bit.”
This comes in light of recent news of Taylor Swift having to cancel her show regarding a threat of an ISIS-related terror attack discovered by government officials earlier this year.
