Haley Joel Osment was arrested for public intoxication, as per TMZ.
According to the report, the Sixth Sense star (37) is facing charges for an arrest last week, Tuesday, April 8, at Mammoth Lakes, California.
He was taken into custody at the local ski resort.
There, he was booked for public intoxication.
He was also booked for possession of an unidentified controlled substance, according to the TMZ report.
Shortly after the arrest, he was released.
Now, the Mono County D.A. will decide whether or not to prosecute him.
Osment’s birthday could perhaps be the reason for celebration, as it was also last week on April 10, but that has yet to be confirmed to be the reason for drinking.
This comes after previous incidents with the law, including a time in 2006 when he was 18 and charged with misdemeanour drunk driving.
His drink driving misdemeanour came after he was injured in a car accident.
He later pleaded no contest to one count of driving under the influence of alcohol and one count of possession of marijuana.
For the 2006 incident, he was sentenced to three years’ probation.
