The first trailer for Ballerina, the eagerly awaited John Wick spinoff, has just dropped.

It features Ana de Armas as the latest assassin to take centre stage in this action-packed franchise.

Set between the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum and John Wick: Chapter 4, the film introduces Eve, a ballet dancer-turned-assassin.

Her mission is fueled by vengeance after the brutal murder of her family.

Neon-soaked shootouts and sleek fight choreography set the tone for what promises to be an adrenaline-pumping thrill ride.

Ana de Armas shines as Eve, trained in the violent traditions of the Ruska Roma.

This shadowy assassin network was first introduced in Parabellum, and Eve’s quest for revenge brings her into its fold.

Her journey crosses paths with Keanu Reeves’ John Wick, who makes a brief but impactful appearance. In a chilling exchange, Wick says, “Looks like you already have,” when Eve asks how to begin her deadly mission.

Returning alongside Reeves are John Wick veterans Ian McShane and the late Lance Reddick.

Anjelica Huston also returns as the Director of the Ruska Roma, adding more depth to the assassin world.

Norman Reedus joins the cast in a mysterious role, adding even more star power to the spinoff.

Ballerina is set to hit theatres on June 6, 2025.
