Production on the hit Prime Series starring David Tennant and Michael Sheen has been paused amid a series of sexual assault allegations being made against its creator, Neil Gaiman.
The series was filming its third and final season in Scotland.
As per Deadline, its production pause may be due to “possible production changes.”
The news of Good Omens pausing production was shared less than a week after Disney paused plans for a feature adaptation of Gaiman’s 2008 YA title The Graveyard Book amid the recent allegations.
It’s said that multiple factors contributed to the decision, as stated by Deadline.
UK-based Tortoise Media podcast, Master: the Allegations Against Neil Gaiman, detailed the accounts of four women earlier this year claiming to have been abused by the series creator.
Gaiman has since denied all allegations, stating that he was “disturbed” by them.
It’s currently unclear when the third and final season of Good Omens will resume production.
In the third season, Sheen and Tennant return to play Aziraphale and Crowley.
The duo, one an angel while the other a demon, makes the unlikely team that is set to save the entire world from the apocalypse after becoming fans of living with humans.
